Central Digital Television (also known as Ten Central) is a digital television station broadcasting in remote central and eastern Australia. It is jointly owned by the Southern Cross Media Group and Imparja Television Pty Ltd and is an affiliate of Network Ten and Southern Cross Ten. It is similar to services already available in Tasmania, Mildura, Darwin and Ten West. Officially, the service's call sign is IDQ in Mount Isa (reflecting the status of analogue station ITQ), while the service in the rest of the license uses the call sign CDT.

Availability

Ten Central was launched on 2 May 2011, when digital transmissions began in Alice Springs and Mount Isa. Outside of these cities, Ten Central is available on satellite through the VAST service, but is not available on the older Optus Aurora platform.
